Build Communication That Works When It Matters Most
When teams don't understand behavioral styles, miscommunication creates friction, conflict goes unresolved, and execution suffers.
This workshop uses DISC® behavioral assessment to show you how each person naturally communicates, what stresses them, and how to adapt your approach for better collaboration and results.

How DISC® and Behavioral Styles Workshops Transform Teams
✓ Understanding of your own natural style, adapted style under pressure, and stress responses
✓ Insight into team behaviors surrounding communication patterns, potential conflict areas, and diversity gaps
✓ Communication adaptation strategies for each person on your team (how to approach them, motivate them, give feedback)
✓ Conflict resolution tools based on understanding behavioral differences, not assuming bad intent
✓ Improve meeting effectiveness by recognizing when communication styles are clashing vs. complementing
✓ Practical protocols for decision-making, delegation, and feedback

DISC® & Behavioral Style Workshop FAQs
What does DISC® stand for?
DISC® stands for the four behavioral styles:
D - Dominance: Direct, results-focused, competitive, fast-paced
I - Influence: Outgoing, enthusiastic, people-focused, optimistic
S - Steadiness: Patient, supportive, consistent, team-oriented
C - Compliance: Analytical, detail-oriented, systematic, quality-focused
Everyone is a blend of all four, but most people have 1-2 dominant styles that shape how they naturally communicate and work.
How is DISC® different from personality tests like Myers-Briggs?
DISC® measures observable behavior: how you act, communicate, and respond to situations. It's focused on what you do, not who you are internally.
Personality tests (like Myers-Briggs or Enneagram) measure deeper psychological traits and preferences.
DISC® is more practical for workplace application because it focuses on adaptable behaviors you can adjust based on who you're working with, while personality traits are more fixed.
Can we do this workshop virtually, or is in-person required?
Both work. In-person is ideal for communication practice, role-playing conflict scenarios, and getting real-time behavioral feedback.
Virtual works well for distributed teams. Tracy uses breakout sessions, live polling, and scenario-based exercises to maintain engagement.
What's the difference between the half-day and 1-2 day workshop?
Half-day workshops introduce the concepts. Individual DISC® profile debriefs, Team Behavioral Map review, introduction to all four styles, conflict pattern analysis, and initial communication action planning.
1-2 Day Workshops integrate the concepts with your team. Everything in half-day, plus deep practice adapting communication styles in real scenarios, conflict resolution role-playing, difficult conversation simulations, and team communication protocol development.
1-2 day workshops are best for teams with significant communication dysfunction or conflict patterns that need practice to resolve.
How long does it take to see communication improvements after the workshop?
Immediate awareness. Teams notice communication patterns and recognize when styles are clashing right after learning DISC®.
Behavior change (consistently adapting communication to different styles, proactively preventing conflict) takes 30-60 days of conscious practice. The workshop provides tools; application takes intentional effort.
Does DISC® work for remote or hybrid teams?
Absolutely. Remote teams often experience more communication friction because you lose nonverbal cues and context. DISC® helps by:
- Making communication preferences explicit ("I'm a high-D, so get to the point quickly in emails")
- Reducing misunderstandings from async communication (Slack, email)
- Helping teams adapt virtual meeting styles to different behavioral needs
